Traveling after babies is uncomplicated. I’m joking. Any trip immediately becomes complicated when children enter the picture. A brisk five- minute grocery store run for milk? One gallon of milk and thirty minutes later, at the checkout aisle, you realize you left your wallet at home. A carefree vacation to the Bahamas? Meh. A quaint getaway to Connecticut? Good luck getting out the door.
To celebrate our first Valentine’s Day as a newlywed couple, Jeff hung a map of the U.S.A on the kitchen wall. He handed me a pin and blindfolded me.
